Construction Update

We're hard at work to bring fiber to Greene County! So far, altafiber has:

Made continued progress on engineering routes throughout the county.
Built to roughly 6,000 addresses in the Beavercreek and Fairborn areas.

Weaving a Tapestry of Community Impact: altafiber's Journey

altafiber had an electrifying celebration as the Bell Charitable Foundation recently marked two remarkable years of collaboration with local nonprofits, showcasing the impact of our commitment to community growth.

In 2022, altafiber launched the Bell Charitable Foundation, dedicating ourselves to fostering change in Economic & Social Mobility, Environmental Sustainability, Technology, and Health & Wellbeing. Over the past two years, we've proudly channeled over $1.8 million in grants to 38 organizations throughout our fiber footprint.

The Bell Charitable Foundation's mission to be a vital part of the communities we serve took a giant leap in 2023 with a $1 million commitment to create more digital equity over the next five years. We'll do this through a series of focused grants to organizations that are expanding access to broadband Internet. Additionally, the Bell Charitable Foundation contributed $3 million to aid relief efforts in Maui post the devastating fires in August.
